Dogo goes powermad and enforces the paperwork onto the people doing the fighting
Allied Headquarters :: View topic - Brigade Accountibility

I don't think it's going to add any "accountability". BRIGADE level officers have little power in game (they can help place AO's and talk on HC channel). Sure they should be leading attacks and defensive actions. Forcing the people doing the fighting to spend 15 minutes every DAY (if they like logging in) is not going to increase "accountability".

It would be illuimating what reports higher level officers could actually write on what they did in game, or even out of it. Why not see if they can do it first, THEN get the lowest level of the HC to do more paperwork?

1.) All Brigades will be assigned a HQ from the Chain of Command

I take this to mean an actual phyiscal location? Where? When can it be moved? How is it moved? Can a briagde officer move it? If not, and there's no Div officer or above online in his chain of command, what then? However, as a non-HC player, perhaps I don't need to know these things.

2.) All Brigade officers and or a temp stand in will write an AAR for each time they where in command of the unit. The AAR reports will be posted in the Division forum that the brigade belongs too....Daily.

Now, granted I don't lead as many attacks as I used to. But why on earth would I do so now when you want me to spend 15 minutes after I log off to write a report because as a temp stand in I now must do so? How many NON HC in game leaders would be willing to? Close to zero I would say.

After nearly every event I've posted an AAR about what happened during those 2-3 hours. It usually took me 30 minutes. I was motivated to do it because the event was a once off, and had much preperation before hand. Doing it everytime I log out of WW2OL is not something I could do.

2a.) AAR Post should include this information in the Topic.
AAR from [Brigade Name] by [position(CO,XO,#IC) Officer Name] [time on duty]

Might want to clarify if time on duty has to be in US central time or GMT? Hard to keep it consist otheerwise.

3.) Division Level access will be given for DDOP. Division Level will now have a voice in future Plans and will be required to attend ALL DDOP meetings.

More mandatory meetings! Yes, this WILL impress the troops now! I'm sure the allied player base has beenm demanding that more officers wake up/stop working/give up a life to go to PLANNING meetings or be descipalied by the AHC

4.) Any and all request for Attack Objectives and or personal will go thru the Chain of Command.

Lol. THAT'S funny. I have little idea in game of WHO or WHAT IS the Chain of command! I'm not in the HC, and I don't want to open the browser and have it open perminatly on the orbat listing and speed 10 minutes trying to find out who's in charge or what where when I'm online. The ONLY information avilable is the list of people in .hc and it gives no indiation of anything. With 200+ people in the orbnat, and multiple people at multiple levels at any one time, it's impossible to do that.

However when a squad is not having fun and or a single person is not having fun (no direction) then the system fails for everyone.

I guess having to spend 15 minutes writing paperwork must be considered fun for anyone then, otherwise the entire system is...er...failing.

HQ placements will be published during the DDOP Saturday Meeting

Even with the slow map of 1.17, having static HQ's updated WEEKLY is laughable. .
